Nestled in one of the most breathtaking corners of the country, Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church is looking for a passionate, faith-driven individual to lead and grow our youth ministry. This is more than a job — it's a calling to invest in the lives of middle and high school students during the years that matter most.

You'll have the freedom to build programs from the ground up, forge genuine relationships with young people and their families, and be part of a warm, welcoming congregation that is excited about the future. We're hoping this part-time role grows into a full-time, year-round position — and we want the right person to grow with it.

Responsibilities

What You'll Do

• 🎯 Design and lead engaging bi-monthly programs for both Middle School and High School students, with dedicated spaces for each age group.
• 🤝 Build meaningful relationships with youth and their families, encouraging participation and spiritual growth.
• 📖 Plan Bible studies, activities, and outreach events that attract new students and deepen the faith of regular attendees.
• 🌟 Create a welcoming, inclusive environment where every young person feels valued and connected.
• 👥 Recruit, train, and coordinate volunteers who share your passion for youth ministry.
• 🏛️ Partner with church leadership to ensure the youth ministry aligns with the church's broader vision and mission.
• 💬 Maintain open, regular communication with parents and guardians.
