Since 1948: Empowering Lives and Enriching Souls by Connecting People to God, the Family of God and the Call of God in Their Lives.

A Brief History of LTCPC

Nestled in the scenic beauty of Lake Tahoe, the Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church has been a spiritual cornerstone for its community. Its story begins with a group of dedicated individuals who envisioned a place of worship that would reflect the tranquility and majesty of its surroundings. This vision became a reality in 1948 when the church was officially established.

All Are Welcome

Because No One Is Perfect

And Anything Is Possible With Jesus!

LTCPC was the first church in the Tahoe region to be open year round. Throughout its history, the church has been deeply committed to serving the diverse needs of the Lake Tahoe community. From its inception, it has offered a welcoming space for worship, fellowship, and community outreach. Over the decades, the church has grown not only in its congregation but also in the breadth of its programs, which include mission work, educational offerings, and support for local families and individuals.

Today, the Lake Tahoe Community Presbyterian Church remains a beacon of faith and service. It continues to adapt and expand its mission while staying true to its founding principles of compassion, inclusivity, and a strong sense of community. Its enduring legacy is a testament to the devotion of its members and its pivotal role in the spiritual and cultural life of the Lake Tahoe region.
